Welcome to ENGL 3160: Technical and Professional Writing.

This course implements a client-based approach, providing students experience beyond the classroom in drafting, writing, revision, and presenting projects tailored to the needs of their workplace supervisors. These projects will require students to engage in various types of research and communication and will tie student success to more than simply grades. In-class discussions will focus on the practical nature of these tasks while also offering opportunities to discuss and test the nuances of document design in multi-modal communication.
